Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Junior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support FBI systems in Washington, DC. You will perform day-to-day ISSO tasks, maintain RMF artifacts, and coordinate with system owners and security teams to ensure proper authorization and ongoing compliance.

The role requires a TS clearance and at least 1 year of experience in RMF/SAA processes, with a degree in CS/Cybersecurity or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance required.
• 1 year of relevant ISSO/security experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Cybersecurity/Information Technology or equivalent certifications.
• Ability to perform SAA/RMF support and maintain security documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SAA documentation and calendars; track control evidence and POA&Ms.
• Coordinate with system owners and senior security personnel; remediate issues.

Job Description

ECS is seeking aTS-cleared Junior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice inWashington, DC.

We are seeking candidates committed to high quality to provide innovative solutions. As a Junior Information System Security Officer, you will provide day-to-day ISSO support for assigned FBI systems across the RMF lifecycle. Maintain SAA documentation and calendars; track control evidence, POA&Ms, vulnerabilities, annual requirements, and data calls; coordinate with system owners and senior security personnel; and escape issues that could affect authorization, compliance, or mission support.

Required Skills

• US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance
• 1 Year of experience
• Intermediate proficiency aligned to Security Architect (722) of DOD 8140 requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering)
  • OR One of the following Certifications (GMON, Security X/CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GCSA, GSEC, Security+, SSCP)
• US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance
• Must meet applicable FBI TS/SCI, background, training, facility-access, and polygraph requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to execute SAA/RMF support and maintain accurate security documentation.

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated experience with FBI/DOJ or Federal SAA or RMF
• Familiarity with JCAM/Xacta
• Possess familiarity with NIST RMF documentation
• Demonstrated experience with POA&M and vulnerability tracking
• Possess experience producing audit-ready security documentation in a cleared environment
