Job summary

MANTECH is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team at Fort Meade. The candidate will support organization, system, or enclave IA programs and work to enforce security policies, maintain the security posture, and manage day-to-day security operations.

Preferred experience includes Splunk dashboards, AWS/Docker services, Kubernetes, and familiarity with RMF processes. Active TS/SCI with Poly is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in any capacity.
• Willingness to learn ISSO responsibilities.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn current security tools.
• Experience or willingness to learn hardware/software security implementation.

MANTECH seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team supporting in Fort Meade.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Support organization, system, or enclave IA programs
• Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Establish and maintain operational security posture.
• Assist with information system security management and day-to-day security operations.
• Provide CM as needed for security software, hardware, and firmware. Manage system changes and assess security impacts.
• Prepare and review SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in any capacity
• Experience or willingness to learn ISSO responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Splunk (search and reporting)
• Experience building Splunk dashboards
• Experience with AWS Docker services and Kubernetes

Clearance Requirements

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Poly

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
