Qualifications

• Incident Handling: experience conducting or managing incident response for organizations, investigating targeted threats.
• Computer Forensic Analysis: background using various forensic analysis tools to determine extent of compromise.
• Systems Administration: understanding system internals to implement countermeasures and remediation.
• Network Forensic Analysis: knowledge of network protocols and ability to analyze network logs.
• Malware Analysis: ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Incident Remediation: strong understanding of targeted attacks and remediation plans.
• Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering: secure network architecture understanding.
• Programming/Scripting: experience in multiple languages including C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby, .NET.

Responsibilities

• Exercise incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Perform basic malware analysis.
• Develop and improve processes for incident detection and countermeasures execution.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management.
• Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events.
