Job summary

BRPH, a design-focused architecture, engineering and construction firm, seeks a junior mechanical engineer for its Orlando office to support HVAC system design. You’ll work under senior engineers, develop 3D building models in Revit, and contribute to project teams across education, hospitality, and commercial markets.

The role emphasizes collaboration, continuing technical development, site visits, and preparation of reports and specifications while ensuring coordination with other disciplines

Qualifications

• BA/BS in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum two years as a mechanical engineer.
• Fundamental knowledge of building loads and ventilation.
• Proficiency with Revit and common MEP tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HVAC system design and equipment selection.
• Develop 3D building models using Revit and plugins.
• Support coordination and clash detection workflows.
• Prepare engineering reports and technical specs under supervision.
• Site visits to review progress and document findings.
• Contribute to code compliance and best practice reviews.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams.
