Job summary

Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Highway Engineer for our Philadelphia, PA office to design and prepare contract documents for roadway improvement projects. This role offers growth opportunities and exposure to the latest technology in a collaborative environment.

The candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering with 0–2 years of experience, familiarity with AASHTO/MUTCD, and proficiency in MS Office, MicroStation, and/or AutoCAD. EIT/FE is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT/FE preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Prior internship or summer work experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AASHTO and MUTCD.
• Proficiency in MS Office software, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and preparation of contract documents for roadway improvement projects for various clients.
• Collaborate with highway engineering team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
