Job summary

KMRG, LLC is hiring a Junior Graphic Designer in Washington, DC to support the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts.

You will provide entry-level graphic production support for AO publications, forms, and presentations, applying templates and branding standards while preparing files for print and digital use. Work involves maintaining digital assets, applying basic Section 508 accessibility tagging, and ensuring files are production-ready.

Qualifications

• Graphic production and template-based layout for print and digital materials.
• Apply branding, formatting standards, and document structure consistently.
• Prepare and preflight production files, including fonts, links, color modes, and archiving.
• Organize digital assets with proper naming, folders, and metadata.
• Apply basic Section 508 tagging and use AO tools in workflows.

Responsibilities

• Produce AO-branded visuals: flyers, infographics, forms, charts, and templates.
• Follow AO Style Manual for typography, colors, logos, and structure.
• Format content using AO templates while maintaining consistency.
• Maintain production-ready templates and continuity files for surges.
• Assist senior designers with production tasks and handoffs.
• Deliver accurate work within turnaround and quality expectations.
• Prepare print-ready and digital-ready files for production and archiving.
• Conduct file preflight checks and package completed projects for handoff.
• Archive files and support quarterly asset inventory and compliance.
• Apply basic 508 tagging and verify accessibility in outputs.
