First Tee – Greater Austin is seeking an enthusiastic, personable Assistant Golf Professional to join our team at the Harvey Penick Golf Campus. You will help run golf operations, deliver junior and adult instruction, and support tournaments and First Tee programs in a mission-driven environment.

The ideal candidate loves golf, works well with people, and can thrive in a fast-paced setting while promoting life skills through the game.

Qualifications

• Passion for golf and helping others enjoy and improve at the game.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work with children, families, adults and golfers of varying skill levels.
• Professional, dependable and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day golf campus operations and tee-time management.
• Provide outstanding customer service to members, guests, and juniors.
• Instruct private lessons and support group clinics and camps.
• Support First Tee programming and youth initiatives.
• Assist with tournaments, outings and special events.
• Maintain shop, practice facilities and player areas in a professional condition.
