Job summary

Baker McKenzie seeks an associate attorney for its Global Equity Services/Compensation practice with multiple U.S. offices. The role focuses on designing and advising on global incentive and compensation arrangements, including share-based plans, and involves drafting opinions and client documents while navigating U.S.

and international tax and regulatory issues. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience, strong academic credentials, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience assisting clients in designing, implementing and maintaining global incentive and compensation arrangements (especially share-based plans).
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain global incentive and compensation arrangements, including share-based plans.
• Draft correspondence, memoranda, legal opinions and other client-related documents.
• Advise on legal, regulatory and tax matters related to global compensation arrangements in cross-border M&As, spin-offs, divestitures, IPOs and redomestications.
