Job summary

Phoenix Energy One, LLC seeks a Jr. GIS Analyst to join the Land team in Irvine, CA. The role supports land projects with GIS data collection, analysis, and visualization to aid land management, planning, and development initiatives.

Responsibilities include data collection, GIS analysis, mapping, database maintenance, reporting, and collaboration with planners, engineers, and environmental scientists. A Bachelor's in Geography/Environmental Science/GIS and 1–2 years GIS experience are required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, GIS, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in GIS analysis and mapping, preferably in land management or environmental projects.
• This is an in-office, Monday through Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Data collection and management of spatial data from diverse sources.
• Perform GIS analysis to support land use planning and environmental assessments.
• Create maps and visualizations to communicate findings for stakeholders and decisions.
• Maintain GIS databases ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.
• Provide GIS technical support to Land team and other stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing GIS analyses.
• Collaborate with planners, engineers, and environmental scientists to integrate GIS into workflows.
