Job summary

Sespe Consulting, a Trinity Consultants, Inc. company, invites applications for an entry-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist.

You will conduct field surveys, collect samples, and support client projects in mineral exploration, water resources, and environmental investigations. You will work with senior geologists, analyze data, and prepare written work products while gaining experience in maps, reports, and GIS applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in geology, earth sciences, or a related field.
• Strong background in sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural geology, hydrogeology, and GIS.
• Advanced coursework in geochemistry or economic geology is a plus.
• Experience with fieldwork and data collection techniques including mapping, logging, and sampling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior geologists with field surveys and data collection.
• Conduct surface and subsurface geologic investigations and hydrogeologic studies.
• Develop field work plans, data interpretation, maps, charts, and reports.
• Collaborate with team to solve geological problems and achieve project objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of field observations, sample locations and results.
• Follow safety protocols in field and lab work.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
