Base pay range

$22.00/hr - $25.00/hr

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Working in the central warehouse, the Junior Geologist will assist project managers across the U.S. with cutting and cataloging core. This position is responsible for cutting, photographing, and logging varying types of core samples.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Use a hand-held scanner to log boxes of core samples.
• Enter data into excel spreadsheets to track shipments.
• Wash, photograph, cut, and organize samples.
• Analyze, and record rock cutting and/or core samples.
• Place the core into the box in a manner that preserves the original orientation.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 1+ years of warehouse experience
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. throughout the day
• Proven ability to solve operational problems and be resourceful
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
• Possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred but not required

• Experience using Webex and/or Microsoft Teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a related field
