Job summary

Tiposi, a Silicon Valley medical device startup focused on AI-powered microwave brain imaging, is seeking an Associate/Junior Software Engineer to maintain and advance a multi‑codebase stack (Python, Flask, Flutter) across on‑site lab and manufacturing environments.

You will diagnose issues, reproduce them on device emulators and real hardware, and implement features while collaborating with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams. International travel is possible as projects scale.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of software engineering experience or strong internship/project work.
• Strong Python fundamentals and ability to read and modify large modules.
• Experience with debugging tools, stack traces, and logs.
• Willingness to work with physical hardware in lab/manufacturing environments.
• Clear written English for bug reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix bugs across the software stack with hardware verification.
• Reproduce issues using device emulators and real devices.
• Implement well-scoped features such as diagnostic pages and API fields.
• Navigate large, poorly documented codebases and contribute maintainability improvements.
• Build and package device software with Docker and PyInstaller.
• Support lab and manufacturing-floor troubleshooting and deployments.
