Qualifications

• 0–2 years of software engineering experience (internships, co-ops, bootcamps, or personal project portfolios included).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Basic understanding of Node.js/Express or Java backends, with RESTful or GraphQL services.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL concepts (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Git and basic command-line navigation in Linux/Ubuntu environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full lifecycle development from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate user stories into UI/UX components.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Write, optimize, and maintain queries for SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Maintain existing applications and develop new features to expand platform capabilities.
• Write automated unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
• Create and maintain system documentation and runbooks.
