Job summary

Jobot is seeking an early-career Full Stack Software Engineer to support Navy mission systems. You will develop, integrate, test, and maintain software across full-stack applications using Java and JavaScript, participating in agile processes and ensuring robust, secure code.

Location is Manassas, VA (Onsite) with occasional Navy or customer site travel. A US Citizenship is required and there is an opportunity for a Secret clearance; benefits include bonus, medical, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Secret Clearance preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, SWE, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–3 years software engineering or systems integration experience.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE development.
• Experience with React or Vue and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, test, and maintain software applications for Navy systems.
• Build and enhance full stack apps using Java and JavaScript.
• Participate in agile sprint planning, development, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot software defects and system integration challenges.
• Produce maintainable, documented code aligned with standards.
• Support validation, deployment, and configuration management.
