Job summary

Building Services 32BJ Benefit Funds is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to design, code, test, and deploy software applications under supervision. You will work on frontend and backend tasks, build REST APIs, and collaborate with IT staff to meet business requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular/Vue) and REST APIs, with exposure to cloud services such as Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with REST APIs and modern front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of OOP design principles.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React/Angular/Vue.
• Knowledge of SQL and database design concepts.
• Experience with C# and .NET framework.
• Exposure to cloud services (Azure preferred).
• Understanding of authentication/authorization concepts (OAuth, JWT, SSO).

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying software applications.
• Develop modules under guidance and collaborate with other developers and IT staff.
• Write clean, secure code following team standards.
• Support front-end integrations and CI/CD activities.
• Contribute to API documentation and design specifications.
• Plan and prioritize tasks; report progress to management.
• Provide after-hours support for emergencies and production releases.
