Job summary

32BJ Benefit Funds is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying software applications that meet business requirements. You will leverage your skills to configure and maintain applications under the supervision of the Team Lead, Application Development.

The role requires fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, plus exposure to REST APIs, SQL, and the .NET ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Familiar with SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design principles.
• Experience with REST APIs and modern JS frameworks.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and at least one framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Basic SQL and database design knowledge.
• Experience with C# and the .NET framework; Java or Python a plus.
• Understanding of web application development concepts.
• Exposure to cloud services (Azure preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining new and existing applications.
• Analyze requirements with business analysts and users.
• Design and develop modules under guidance with other developers.
• Write secure, well-tested code following standards.
• Assist in database schema, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
• Develop and test simple features and bug fixes.
• Support front-end integrations and CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and update API schemas and system docs.
