Job summary

The Cadmus Group is seeking a junior full stack developer to join a capable agile team delivering operational dashboards for a federal health care organization. You will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work with Angular/React on the frontend and Python on the backend, deploy to AWS, and use Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools. Strong collaboration, initiative, and a proactive approach to automation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of full-stack web development experience with modern frontend and backend tech.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
• Proficient with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Agile/Scrum environment experience.
• Strong communication and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers, product owners, and DevOps to design, develop, test, deploy scalable apps on cloud.
• Develop responsive UI with Angular and React.
• Design, develop, maintain backend services with Python.
• Design, implement, and integrate REST APIs with frontend and third-party services.
• Deploy and maintain apps on AWS.
• Configure and manage Nginx as web server/reverse proxy.
• Work in Linux environments for deployment and troubleshooting.
• Write clean, well-documented code following standards.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain availability.
