Job summary

SharpAtoms in Denver, CO is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to assist with design, development, and maintenance of modern web applications. You will collaborate with senior developers to build front-end interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue, and implement backend logic with Node.js, Python, .NET, or Java.

The role is entry-level with 0–1 year of full-time experience; a BS/MS in CS/IT/SE is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of full-time software development experience (entry-level focus).
• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field; equivalent training may be considered.
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Basic knowledge of at least one backend language or framework (Node.js/Express/.NET/Java/Spring Boot/Python).
• Basic understanding of relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, development, and maintenance of full-stack web applications.
• Build responsive front-ends using React/Angular/Vue.
• Develop and maintain backend logic and RESTful APIs using Node.js/Java/Python/.NET/Spring Boot.
• Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Learn project architecture, coding standards, and workflows.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings with developers, QA, and product teams.
• Write clean, testable code and help with unit testing and debugging.

Salary: $55,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Entry-level candidates with 0–1 year of full-time professional software development experience; candidates with more than one year of full-time Full Stack Development experience may be better suited to experienced-level roles.
• Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical training or project experience may also be considered.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, and basic software design principles.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Basic knowledge of at least one backend language or framework, such as Node.js, Express, .NET, Java, Spring Boot, or Python.
