Job summary

iSpace, Inc. in Nashville is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Web Developer to build and maintain web apps using modern technologies.

You will lead 3-5 developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship features, write clean code, and ensure performance and security. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years' experience as a full stack web developer.
• Back-end: Node.js, Express, Django, Ruby on Rails, or similar.
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Experience with large single page apps and complex state management.
• Familiar with UI frameworks: Bootstrap, Semantic-React-UI, Material, Tailwind.
• Experience with Jest, Chai, Cypress, or similar testing tools.
• Experience leading a team and/or managing direct reports.
• Experience with code reviews to ensure security, quality and maintainability.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

• Experience with database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Experience working on large single page web applications with complex state management.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, Semantic-React-UI, Material, Tailwind, or similar.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests with tools such as Jest, Chai, Cypress, or similar.
• Experience leading a team and/or managing direct reports.
• Experience performing code reviews to ensure security, code quality, maintainability, and knowledge sharing among team members.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Very strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
