Job summary

CSEngineering, a Bethesda-based tech firm, seeks a Junior Full Stack Developer / Microsoft 365 Systems Specialist to support federal programs and headquarters. You will build secure web apps, assist with Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management, and IAM, collaborating with government customers and cybersecurity teams in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities include API development, Wagtail CMS support, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, and database troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 1–3 years in software development, full-stack development, or application support.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Django.
• Working knowledge of Java and Go, with practical experience in at least one.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and SharePoint Online.
• Understanding of OO programming, secure software development, testing, and debugging.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, consume, document, and troubleshoot RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Support Navy JAG Website and Wagtail CMS, including templates and publishing workflows.
• Use Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments.
• Support PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL databases and queries.
• Administer users, groups, roles, and access in Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Support SSO and identity integrations using Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with workstation setup.
• Provide day-to-day IT operations support for CSE Headquarters; desktop and conference room tech.
• Assist with Microsoft Intune enrollment, policies, and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Participate in team meetings and support process improvement.
