Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers at checkout to complete purchases accurately
• Maintain a friendly and efficient demeanor to ensure a positive checkout experience
• Keep the front end organized, clean, and running smoothly throughout the shift
• Rotate between tasks such as handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes while adapting to changing priorities
