Job summary

Aptar Pharma is seeking a Formulation & Manufacturing Chemist I to support early-phase development and cGMP manufacturing of orally inhaled and nasal drug products. The role blends hands-on manufacturing with lab formulation work across R&D and Manufacturing, requiring rigorous experiments and precise documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Engineering and has 0–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Engineering
• 0-5 years of relevant experience (laboratory, manufacturing, or engineering)
• GMP experience preferred but not required
• Strong laboratory discipline and willingness to learn GMP

Responsibilities

• Execute GMP manufacturing activities (formulation preparation, device filling, assembly)
• Document all activities in batch records with high accuracy
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, data integrity, and safety requirements
• Support cleanroom operations and material control
• Prepare and evaluate lab-scale formulations
• Design and execute controlled formulation experiments
