Qualifications

• Investigate workplace, industrial, and construction site incidents involving employee injury, fatality, or near-miss events
• Analyze compliance with OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, NFPA codes, and applicable state and local safety requirements
• Evaluate construction means and methods, job hazard analyses, safety programs, and training practices
• Assess use, condition, and guarding of machinery, tools, scaffolding, fall protection systems, and PPE
• Apply ergonomic principles to identify workplace risk factors, evaluate human performance, and recommend injury-prevention strategies

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced forensic experts on active cases with mentorship and development toward becoming a designated expert
• Investigate incidents and contribute to case documentation and findings
• Support investigations based on safety principles, equipment design, and environmental factors
• Review project documents, safety manuals, policies, training records, maintenance logs, and incident reports
• Prepare clear, well-supported reports of findings for technical and non-technical audiences
• Other duties as assigned.
