Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a Production Operator at our Richfield, WI facility. You will assist in set‑up and operation of folding and gluing operations on a specialty folder gluer, aiming for efficient runs and high-quality outputs.

You will help minimize waste, monitor quality including misprints and mis-slots, and complete production and safety reports. Training responsibilities and schedule adherence are part of the role, with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year minimum relevant experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Experience in Press and Finishing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accurate and efficient set‑up of folding and gluing operations of the specialty folder gluer machine.
• Minimize waste of sheet stock and glue.
• Properly operate machine to run efficiently and produce quality products.
• Ensure diagonal and corrugator scores are broken when necessary.
• Maximize utilization of equipment by operating at available capacity and speed.
• Assist in training all post job positions.
• Learn to run a variety of box styles.
• Check quality of boxes during the run for defects.
• Complete necessary reports: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.
• Submit maintenance work orders for repairs and be proactive in equipment upkeep.
• Adhere to production schedule; suggest schedule optimizations to meet cost, quality and service goals.
• Comply with company policies and safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

Education

High school diploma or GED

One year minimum relevant experience

Prior corrugated industry experience
