Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is hiring for a Machine Operator in Wisconsin. You will set up equipment, monitor runs, optimize throughput, inspect tooling, and support safe, efficient production of quality corrugated products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year minimum relevant experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment accurately and in accordance with proper and safe setup techniques.
• Inspect tooling before and after run to ensure repairs are made before next run; minimize material sheet, ink and adhesive waste.
• Assist Machine Operator in operating machines to ensure efficiency and quality production.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at available capacity and speed.
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs.
• Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups.
• Provide recommendations to optimize the schedule for cost, quality and service goals.
• Perform continuous quality control by sampling material for size, scoring, slotting, printing and folding.
• Adhere to company policies and practice safe work habits.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to GBP quality policy to ensure customer satisfaction.
