Job summary

Sierra Space is hiring an entry-level Software Engineer I for flight software in the Centennial/Louisville area of Colorado. You will design, develop, and test software for space systems, writing clean code and collaborating with senior engineers.

You will use Git, participate in code reviews, and grow with a mission-driven team focused on national security and space technologies. The role requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 0–2 years' experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 0–2 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of programming languages and software development principles.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required.
