BankUnited is seeking a Junior Securities Portfolio Analyst to support the Chief Investment Office in monitoring and analyzing the fixed income portfolio. You will help create periodic reporting and perform quantitative analysis using modern data tools, collaborating with Investment, Credit, Operations and Technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 0-3 years work experience is expected.
• Experience with structured products is a plus.
• Experience with Python (NumPy, Pandas) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain portfolio reports using Python, AWS, SQL, Bloomberg, CAS, Tableau, and Intex.
• Perform investment analysis, credit stress scenarios, and interest rate shocks on fixed income securities.
• Assist Portfolio Managers with quarterly securities valuation processes.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers on portfolio construction and performance assessment.
• Participate in special projects requiring quantitative analysis.
• Adhere to applicable laws and BankUnited policies, including AML provisions.
