BankUnited in Melville, NY is seeking a Junior Securities Credit Analyst to join the Investment Portfolio Credit & Performance group. You will help create and run reporting and analysis to monitor credit and performance of the bank's fixed income investments.

Ideal candidates have a finance-related Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years' experience, with solid knowledge of Python and SQL, and familiarity with Pandas/NumPy. AWS and Tableau familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required.
0-3 years of work experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Python and SQL required.
Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy preferred.

Responsabilités

Build and maintain portfolio credit and stress testing reports.
Analyze, monitor and report on portfolio characteristics and performance.
Collaborate with Investment Portfolio Credit & Performance Analyst and PMs on stress testing framework.
Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.
Adhere to banking laws and internal policies including anti-money laundering requirements.
Identify and report suspicious activity.
