Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is hiring Firmware Engineers to support programs for US military and international customers. You will work on firmware for FPGAs, SOCs, and CPLDs within IPT teams, including lab integration, testing, and qualification activities.

You will generate firmware requirements, design HDL circuits, build test benches, and automate build/integration tasks while ensuring device functionality in a laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate firmware requirements based on the system architecture.
• Generate firmware documentation describing the firmware architecture.
• Design HDL based digital circuits that are structured and readable.
• Build test benches to verify/test the HDL based design.
• Generate constraints for target device.
• Create scripts to automate build, integration, and test activities.
• Verify target device functionality in laboratory environment.
