Job summary

CFS in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This early-career role offers exposure to FP&A and corporate finance with a salary range of $70,000–$90,000.

You will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting; analyze the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow; maintain Excel-based models; and collaborate with Accounting and operations teams on monthly close and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting, audit, public accounting, or financial analysis experience.
• Public accounting or audit experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and fundamental accounting principles.
• Comfortable with debits, credits, journal entries, reconciliations, and account activity.
• Ability to understand how the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement interact.
• CPA eligibility or progress toward the CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

A growing, multi-location organization is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting or finance professional who wants to transition from a traditional accounting or public accounting environment into FP&A and corporate finance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, understand how the three financial statements work together, and be comfortable with the fundamentals of debits, credits, journal entries, and financial statement analysis. Experience in public accounting or audit is highly preferred.
