Job summary

Intertek-PSI is seeking an Entry-Level Field Technician I in San Antonio, TX to perform material testing and site observations under supervision. You will operate testing equipment, interpret basic data, and maintain thorough documentation in a dynamic field role.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work overnight hours and off shift, outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete or other) and provide assessment of data.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
