Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in commercial cooking and refrigeration service or trade school background.
• EPA Universal Certification (or willingness to obtain shortly after hire).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service tasks under guidance.
• Support equipment installations and component replacements as directed.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, and labor hours in the company system.
• Communicate professionally with customers while shadowing senior technicians.
• Follow EPA, safety, and company compliance standards.
• Maintain tools, truck inventory, and job site cleanliness.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development programs.
• Assist with emergency service calls alongside experienced technicians as needed.
