Job summary

HighRes Biosolutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Level I/Junior) to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HighRes devices at customer sites. This role emphasizes hardware expertise and coordination with the Automation Support Engineer for full coverage.

You will onboard through training, assist in deployment and calibration, document cases, and develop customer relationships in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification with equivalent experience is required.
  • 0–1 years (1–3 years at Level I) in field service or customer-facing support.
  • Experience with laboratory automation, robotics, or instrumentation is a plus.
  • Ability to travel weekly to customer sites; domestic travel 40–55% and some international travel possible.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain HighRes devices and automation platforms at customer sites.
  • Assist in deployment and calibration of robotic systems.
  • Document support cases, activities and resolutions accurately.
  • Collaborate with Automation Support Engineers and operations teams on updates and upgrades.
  • Provide basic Cellario software training to customers and maintain documentation.
  • Build customer relationships and ensure customer engagement within the assigned territory.
