Job summary

HKS, Inc. is seeking a junior professional to support LINE Facade Studio in Los Angeles. The role focuses on enclosure design, BIM modeling, and documentation across multiple projects, under supervision.

The ideal candidate brings an accredited architecture/engineering degree and up to 3 years of experience, with familiarity in Revit, Rhino, and scripting tools. Opportunity for growth and exposure to advanced facade solutions awaits.

Qualifications

Accredited professional degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
On the path to Architectural or Engineering Registration.
Typically 0–3 years of experience.
Sustainability accreditation preferred.
Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp and 3D modeling preferred.
Scripting and parametric tools like Grasshopper, Dynamo, Python, C# preferred.
Knowledge of structural analysis tools and energy/thermal software is a plus.
Proficiency with MS Office and building codes.

Responsibilities

Modify or create enclosure sketches, drafted details, BIM models and reports using standard architectural/engineering techniques.
Collaborate with project leaders on technical and design aspects of project implementation.
Perform routine architectural, engineering, and energy analyses with team members.
Check quality and accuracy of own work and meet deadlines.
Assist in proposals, presentations, schedules, and models.
