Responsibilities
• Assist Catering Sales Managers with event details such as typing up contracts, banquet event orders, updating floorplans, client correspondence, and other daily tasks associated with event planning, under their guidance
• A significant portion of the job will be focus on managing social media platforms such as Instagram and our website, and potentially our other properties social media as well
• Responsible for capturing, creating and scheduling social media content
• Manage photo libraries so that proposals, site visits, and social media have up to date images and look books.
•Answer office phones and take inquiries for the catering sales team
• Event Folders-Filing and Maintaining Computer Event Files
• Ensure Banquet staff and Culinary Team receives the distribution of new and revised banquet event orders for all events
• Provide excellent service and always maintain a professional manner
• Ensure requested orders, vendor services and schedules have been placed for events
• Greeting and directing guests for appointments and events as needed
• Coordinate vendor access or load in times
• Coordinate with the Event Salesperson to ensure events are paid and invoices are accurate
• Event invoicing and client payments in coordination with the accountant
• Complete Sales/Catering kits and menus for Clients
• Assist Catering Sales Managers with client tastings or tasting menu’s
• Provide excellent service and always maintain a professional manner
• Maintains office efficiency by organizing leftover items from events, lost and found items, replenishing of office supplies, file organization, sorting of mail, shipping, and receiving of items, etc.
Requirements
• Must have superior organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva. Proficiency in Prismm and TripleSeat highly preferred.
• Must be very knowledgeable in social media metrics, trends and scheduling software, as well as, be able to photograph events and the venue effectively.
• Must be a self-motivator.
• Non-Remote 5 Day M-F Work Week as Our Business Required Being in the Office.

Compensation
• Fully paid health insurance coverage for employees
• Starting Salary $52,000.00 to $59,000.00 a year, commensurate with experience.
