Job summary

Old Mission in New York seeks a Junior Sales Trader to join its institutional sales desk. You will manage ETF RFQs, execute equity orders for clients, and serve as the bridge between clients and the Old Mission trading desks.

You will learn pricing and market microstructure across a global set of products, participate in client meetings, and help manage relationships while leveraging AI tools to accelerate work.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in a quantitative field or economics/finance.
• Experience with a programming language, preferably Python and/or SQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
• Proven trustworthiness and high ethical standards.
• Keen desire to learn how things work.

Responsibilities

• Manage ETF RFQs, execute equity orders for clients, and ensure efficient booking/settlement.
• Generate reports to monitor trading activity and relationships.
• Answer inbound client trading requests and secure pricing from OM trading desks.
• Assist clients with pre/post trade information as needed.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate work.
