This development role emphasizes learning cost data, reviewing scopes, and gaining exposure to tools like Bluebeam and Procore while contributing to bid packages and preconstruction activities.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Basic understanding of construction trades, sequencing, and terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with takeoff software (Bluebeam Revu, On-Screen Takeoff) and project platforms (Procore, SmartBidNet).

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing estimates at all design stages under the Project Lead.
• Review plans and specs to identify scope and missing information.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and input into estimating templates.
• Research unit pricing from historical data and quotes.
• Draft scope sheets and track bid coverage with the Project Lead.
