Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or related field or equivalent.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Estimator in preparing detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for construction projects.
• Support review of project plans, specs, and contract documents to identify scope, risks, and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Solicit and track pricing from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, and bid documentation.
