Qualifications
0-2 years of experience in construction estimating or internships preferred.
Degree in progress is acceptable.
Responsibilities
Assist with quantity take-offs from plans and specifications.
Support pricing and bid preparation.
Work with the estimating team to develop accurate bids.
Review project plans and specifications.
Assist in subcontractor solicitation during bidding.
Communicate with vendors and teams for project info.
Support bid documents and proposal organization.
Assist with project scheduling.
Maintain organized project files.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and training.
Assist with bid closeout.
Perform additional management-assigned duties.
Skills
Basic knowledge of construction estimating principles
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn estimating software
Strong willingness to learn in the industry
Ability to work in a team environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
