Job summary

Core & Main in St. Louis, MO, is seeking an Estimator – Critical Infrastructure Group to support quantity takeoffs for infrastructure projects.

You will learn plan interpretation, material identification, and basic takeoff procedures while collaborating with the Pre-Bid and sales teams to provide timely bid support. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in construction or engineering, an associate degree or technical certificate, and a strong willingness to learn with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Exposure to reading blueprints or construction documents preferred.
• Coursework or internships in construction or engineering are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in reviewing plans and specs to identify basic material requirements.
• Performs entry-level quantity takeoffs with supervision and guidance.
• Supports bid package preparation and coordination with Pre-Bid team.
