Trillium Construction is seeking a Junior Estimator to support bids for civil, site-access, and matting projects for power line construction in Lakeland, FL or Austin, TX. This full-time, on-site role joins a team building earthwork and cost estimates and assisting with bid packages.

You will perform quantity take-offs, use estimating software, and collaborate with senior estimators on bid day activities and vendor queries.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated take-off skills on civil or site construction plans.
• Experience with earthwork software for volumes and grading analysis.
• Familiarity with building estimating software for bid costings.
• Civil construction experience on site development, utilities, or ROW projects.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans, specs, and contracts.
• Proficient in Excel and Office; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Perform quantity take-offs for access and civil scopes.
• Use earthwork software to model volumes and surface changes.
• Build cost estimates with labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and compare subcontractor quotes; maintain pricing data.
• Review drawings to identify scope gaps and missing information; raise RFIs.
• Assist senior estimators with bid assembly and proposal documents.
• Maintain organized estimate files and cost data.
• Visit project sites with senior staff to verify conditions.
