• Permanent position for a junior level Environmental Engineer with a NY PE License to oversee transit construction projects for the MTA.
• Monitor, sample and report on air, soil and water quality.
• Hazardous and universal waste management.
• Oversee contaminated soil management, spill prevention, and stormwater management.
• Meet State and Federal regulations, including soil, groundwater, and air contaminant identification.
• Take qualitative and quantitative measurements, and implement of remedial technologies.
• BS Environmental or Civil Engineering.
• PE License in New York is required.
• Minimum 5 years experience with air, soil, and water monitoring, sampling, and reporting.
• Experience with waste management.
• Minimum 2 years experience working on transportation construction projects.
• Knowledge of contaminated soil management, spill prevention, stormwater management, and hazardous waste management.
• Knowledge of asbestos abatement procedures.
• Knowledge of NYSDEC regulations.
