Job summary

Langan is hiring an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer, Scientist or Geologist in Cleveland, OH. You’ll contribute to site exploration, contaminated site investigation and remediation, soil and groundwater sampling, and data management for a diverse project portfolio.

As a developing professional, you’ll work with industry leaders in a continuous learning environment, gain hands-on experience, and grow technical skills while supporting field and report preparation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
• 0-2 years of work-related experience; internships preferred.
• Applicants with an engineering degree are preferred to have EIT Certification or FE registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and environmental investigations.
• Perform air, soil, gas, groundwater sampling and remediation of contaminated properties.
• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations; log borings, collect samples, perform tests, and record data.
• Provide field oversight of remediation activities and subcontractors per specs.
• Identify and implement solutions and document results; communicate issues to supervisor.
• Assist with preparation of technical reports, specs, plans, data management and evaluation.
• Perform other duties as requested.
