Job summary
Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer, Scientist or Geologist to join its collaborative team in New York, NY, White Plains, NY, or Melville, NY. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
- 0-2 years of work-related experience.
- EIT Certification or FE exam registration preferred for engineers.
Responsibilities
- Perform field inspections and environmental investigations.
- Perform air, soil, gas, groundwater sampling and remediation of contaminated properties.
- Assist with planning and execution of field investigations and data collection.
- Field oversight of remediation activities and subcontractors; ensure compliance with specifications.
- Prepare technical reports; data management and evaluation; and environmental assessment and remediation.
