Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering is required.
• 0-2 years of work-related experience preferred.
• EIT Certification or current FE registration preferred.
• Prior relevant internship or professional work experience preferred.
• Strong technical education and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations: logging borings, collecting samples, field tests, data recording.
• Monitor construction projects by performing tests to verify contractor compliance with specs.
• Identify and implement solutions to field and laboratory problems and document results.
• Prepare reports documenting field investigations and analytical results; create logs and field forms (drilling logs, dailies, chain-of-custody).
• Learn data management and modeling tools for environmental media; understand engineering analyses and field equipment usage.
• Perform other duties as requested.
