Job summary

HLBMA LLC in Georgia is seeking a Specialist I, Environmental & Sustainability to support environmental compliance activities for manufacturing operations. The role helps maintain regulatory programs, assist permitting and reporting, and support EMS under senior leadership.

You will work with Operations, Engineering, and EH&S teams to identify risks, maintain records, and advance sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related environmental field is required.
• Relevant internship or co-op experience preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in environmental compliance or regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental permitting including air, wastewater, storm water, waste programs.
• Support preparation of regulatory reports such as Tier II, Form R, GHG, SPCC.
• Maintain compliance calendars and tracking tools for reporting deadlines.
• Support documentation for regulatory inspections and audits.
• Maintain EMS documentation aligned with ISO 14001 requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations and Engineering teams on environmental procedures.
• Assist with internal environmental audits and corrective action tracking.
