Job summary

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions, LLC seeks a Junior Enterprise Watch Officer in Springfield, VA to monitor mission system status and coordinate incident response for NGA IT services. You will provide timely updates to CIO-T leadership and deliver daily operation briefs in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, experience with ServiceNow, and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, while collaborating across teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 2+ years relevant IT/ops experience.
• Clearance: TS/SCI and ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Operational experience with ServiceNow and familiarity with Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

• Manage Priority 1 tickets to resolution.
• Monitor ES C operations to maintain centralized situational awareness of NGA IT services.
• Communicate the status of the operational infrastructure and provide briefings to senior leadership.
• Prepare and deliver Daily Operations briefs and coordinate with mission partners during outages.

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

The Junior Enterprise Watch Officer services encompass delivering proactive collection, dissemination, and monitoring of mission system and site status, as well as leadership, coordination, and collaboration for critical and high priority incident resolution that provides NGA executives and CIO-T leadership with situational awareness located in Springfield, VA

Responsibilities

• Manage Critical Priority 1 tickets to resolution
• Monitor operational activities of all cells within the ESC (e.g., PSOC, CSOC) to maintain centralized situational awareness of the overall health of NGA IT services.
• Communicate the status of the operational infrastructure
• Provide briefings to senior leadership on the status of the IT enterprise
• Prepare and deliver the Daily Operations briefs
• Collect, coordinate, and brief upcoming days AOs
• Recommend appropriate mitigation activities to minimize down time, minimize mission impact and restore services as soon as possible.
• Assist in assessing the impact of events and incidents on mission capability, prioritizing service restoration activities, and providing final assessment of mission impacts prior to conducting authorized outages.
• Coordinate with any impacted mission partners during unscheduled outages to advise of outage status, remediation actions, and projected restoral times.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years relevant experience OR
• Associate’s Degree and 4+ years relevant experience OR
• High school diploma and 6+ years relevant experience
  • Operational experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community
• TS/SCI Clearance
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree
• Active CompTIA Security + Certification

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to obtain CI Poly Clearance
• Ability to work Panama Day Shift hours. Shift will be identified upon hire
• Ability to work nights / weekends / holidays
• Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
• Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
• Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
• Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.
• Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
