Job summary

The State of Washington, Department of Labor & Industries, Information Technology Division, seeks an experienced IT professional to develop and maintain enterprise applications. You will work on high-visibility systems, connect Power Platform solutions to data sources, and support HR, Budget, and security functions.

Key technologies include .NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, and Azure DevOps in a collaborative, agile environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing, designing, developing, or supporting software products.
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio and .NET programming.
  • Experience using MS SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with JQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript or related JS frameworks.
  • Ability to understand complex application design patterns and agile development.
  • Experience managing source control and software releases.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications, interfaces, and web services.
  • Translate business requirements into application features.
  • Coordinate across multiple applications during changes and enhancements.
  • Perform unit and integration testing; ensure quality and security.
  • Follow SDLC processes; utilize Azure DevOps for work tracking and releases.
  • Stay current on trends in .NET, SQL, Windows server, cloud computing.
