Job summary
The State of Washington, Department of Labor & Industries, Information Technology Division, seeks an experienced IT professional to develop and maintain enterprise applications. You will work on high-visibility systems, connect Power Platform solutions to data sources, and support HR, Budget, and security functions.
Key technologies include .NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, and Azure DevOps in a collaborative, agile environment.
Qualifications
- Experience analyzing, designing, developing, or supporting software products.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio and .NET programming.
- Experience using MS SQL Server.
- Familiarity with JQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript or related JS frameworks.
- Ability to understand complex application design patterns and agile development.
- Experience managing source control and software releases.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications, interfaces, and web services.
- Translate business requirements into application features.
- Coordinate across multiple applications during changes and enhancements.
- Perform unit and integration testing; ensure quality and security.
- Follow SDLC processes; utilize Azure DevOps for work tracking and releases.
- Stay current on trends in .NET, SQL, Windows server, cloud computing.
