Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Required).
• Experience: 0–1 year preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training / Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) preferred.
• Strong grasp of core engineering principles relevant to discipline.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop solutions.
• Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks.
• Data interpretation and analytical tool usage.
• Understanding of timelines, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Critical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers and Designers in design and detail of engineering systems; write/edit specifications and research design options.
• Apply prescribed techniques and procedures to perform tasks; research findings and provide recommendations.
• Collect data, perform basic computations or analysis; prepare drawings/visual aids.
• Participate in meetings to ensure code compliance; conduct site investigations.
• Interact with staff, the public, officials, and contractors; limited client-facing responsibilities.
