Job summary

BeOne Medicines seeks a Jr. Engineer at the Hopewell, NJ site to oversee contractors and support cross-functional capital and operational projects. The role ensures compliance with facilities, engineering, EHS, and site security requirements, while coordinating with internal and external teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of contractor oversight in pharma or medical devices and an engineering degree. GMP familiarity and ability to read engineering drawings are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of contractor oversight in pharma/medical device
• Must have an engineering-related degree
• Ability to work on office, construction site, utilities/maintenance, and manufacturing areas
• Familiarity with GMP is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction and maintenance contractors on process, utility, and building systems.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, gowning, badging, permits, and safety forms.
• Report contractor progress to project manager and coordinate with internal/external teams.
• Assist in engineering project management and maintenance coordination for capital/operational projects.
